Description
Objective:
Pipestone is growing We are seeking a seasoned web developer with experience using and to help with the support of existing internally developed solutions as well as the creation of new ones.
The Web Application Developer is responsible for understanding, maintaining, creating, and implementing technology solutions to meet the application, analytics, and data mining business requirements supporting Pipestone's products and services.
This position will be responsible for working closely with business users and other internal IT staff as well as external consultants to complete projects under high levels of responsibility and autonomy.
There is a desire for this to be an in-house position but remote work is always on the table for the right candidate.
Essential Functions:
Proven technical knowledge of Information Technology field and computer systems.
Hardworking and driven individual with desire to improve personally and professionally.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong troubleshooting abilities to understand the source of problems and the effective critical thinking to outline solutions
Software and analytics experience with the ability to provide technical support and training to employees.
Monitor and quickly respond to incoming IT related requests requiring a developers skillset (Break/Fix)
Able to work with little supervision and within a team environment
Other Responsibilities:
Mentor junior IT/Developer staff
Assist with the creation and implementation of departmental and organizational processes and procedures as they pertain to IT/Developer activities and responsibilities
Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Node.
JS/React.
JS required
Other platforms/languages a plus
Should have some experience with IIS
Relevant certifications preferred but not required
Strongly prefer 3+ years of relevant experience but exceptions could be made for the right candidate
General knowledge of business, finance or accounting is a plus
Additional Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to work and attend meetings.
