- Will organize logistics for face-to-face and virtual call meetings for the Board of Directors.
- Communicate to Board members all relevant details regarding meetings, including (but not limited to) coordinating the development of meeting agenda, ensuring all information required for meetings is distributed promptly, administering all details during meetings, and organizing and taking minutes for each meeting.
- Assist staff with scheduling board subcommittee meetings and calls.
- Assist the Board with general inquiries, maintain and distribute contact lists of the Board and subcommittees.
- Maintain all executive and board documents, plan and process travel arrangements and reimbursements for Board members, and perform other duties as requested by the ED.
- Maintains physical and virtual copies of Board of Directors minutes and agendas, those associated with the Head Start Policy Council, and other meetings as requested.
- Typing of correspondence, reports, grants, purchase orders, and other financial information for the Executive Director
- Assist Human Resources with recruitment and entering any human resources data into the various software systems.
- Serve on agency committees to improve internal and external affairs.
- Keep contact lists up to date of all funders and agency partners. Maintain central file of contracts, contract amendments, and correspondence with funding sources.
- Provide various information to others to assist effective and efficient workflow throughout the office.
- Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms and agency websites.
- Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels and the agency website.
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments and forward them to the appropriate department head.
- Develop and publish Agency newsletter.
- Employee must be flexible, organized, and productive with strong time management skill sets.
- Employees must be skilled at self-starting.
- Personal transportation is a requirement.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills necessary for preparing grants, written reports and giving oral presentations and trainings.

- Prefer BA degree in Business Administration with two (2) years of experience but will consider AA degree in Business Administration with three (3) years' experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the job's essential duties may be substituted. Flexibility, management skills, and access to personal transportation are crucial. Must possess accurate spelling, grammatical usage, and excellent communication skills. Have knowledge of word processing systems, and other applicable software as necessary.
- Work is performed in standard office and field environments.
- Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting or the field; must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift (up to 20lbs), carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amount of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer, possess general visual acuity.
