- Predictive Maintenance: Implement predictive maintenance technologies such as electric motor current signature analysis, infrared thermography imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasonic analysis.
- Implementation: Overseeing CMMS implementations at new project start-ups, ensuring that the system is set up correctly and meets the organization's needs.
- Data Management: Managing data entry into the CMMS system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Reporting: Generating reports from the CMMS software, analyzing maintenance trends, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Asset Condition Assessments: Establishes proper procedures within the CMMS system for field teams to conduct thorough inspections of current assets. Generates detailed reports on asset condition and performance and assists in analyzing findings to contribute to recommendations for improving asset management strategies.
- Capital Improvement Plan: Assist in developing a comprehensive Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) based on insights from asset evaluations. Collaborates with stakeholders to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively.
- Work Order Coordination: Coordinating with operations and maintenance teams to ensure the timely completion of work orders and preventive/predictive maintenance tasks.
- Metrics and KPI's: Assist in the development and implementations of various project metrics and KPI's to fit within the organization's needs and directives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of reliability improvement efforts.
- Training: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of operations and maintenance staff in asset reliability. Training staff on CMMS software usage and best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Troubleshooting: Addressing and resolving any issues that arise with the CMMS system, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
- Education/Experience: BA/BS Degree or 15+ years of water/wastewater project experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License.
- Technical: Certification in asset reliability and/or maintenance best practices such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL).

This individual is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's CMMS software platforms.This includes implementations of new projects start-ups, managing data entry, generating reports, establishing metrics/KPI's, analyzing maintenance trends, and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure the timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
The CMMS Administrator also plays a key role in training staff on the Uptime Elements along with CMMS software usage and best practices, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise with the system.
Overall, the Asset Reliability Specialist plays a crucial role in maximizing the efficiency and reliability of maintenance operations through effective management of the CMMS software.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Uptime Elements:
Implement the Reliability Uptime Elements framework within operations and maintenance. Develop and implement strategies to improve asset reliability, availability, and performance.
Software Management:
Ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's CMMS software.
