Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Security Coordinator 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities : Serve as a records maintainer and data entry specialist within the Personnel Security Team. Primarily responsible for auditing and ensuring accuracy of documents within PERSEC files. Input information into government databases with a high rate of accuracy. Input accesses into SIMS, excel, and other databases. Knowledge of electronic recordkeeping and corporate archival functions. Send and receive visitor information. Process badges for long term visitors and customers. Other administrative duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of Security or related administrative experience
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years
Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Special Access Program (SAP)
Ability to sit and/or stand throughout the day.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
Experience working in a SAP environment
Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Demonstrate a positive working relationship with internal and external customers
Working knowledge of NG and Govt. systems : DISS, JADE, SIMS
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary Range: $58,400 - $97,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
