    Job Summary:
    RadNet's IS Network Engineer is responsible for providing security, high-availability, performance, stability, and scalability for RadNet's complex and distributed enterprise-networking infrastructure.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Works alongside the RadNet Networking Team, Telecomm Team and System Administration Team to support, monitor, maintain and enhance production communications networks.
    • Provides Tier 2 & 3 level support for IT Operations Teams.
    • Interfaces with Service Provider Support Engineers to troubleshoot carrier circuit and routing issues.
    • Provides identification and troubleshooting of internal and external connectivity and communications problems.
    • Establishes, monitors and maintains External Partner VPN Tunnels.
    • Provides design documentation and up-to-date network diagrams of the enterprise networks.
    • Collaborates with RadNet's Cybersecurity Team to support and contribute to RadNet IT's Cybersecurity Program.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, UDP, and Wi-Fi protocols along with Static & Dynamic Routing principles.
    • Experience Administering Cisco Routers/Switches/Firewalls, Juniper Networks Routers/Switches/Firewalls, Palo-Alto Networks Firewalls (including Wildfire Advanced Threat Capabilities) and Fortigate firewalls.
    • Fundamental understanding of VPN (L2TP, SSL/TLS, IPSec).
    • Fundamental understanding of DNS (including public domain name registration), DHCP, and SSL Certificate Management.
    • Understanding of Traffic Shaping and Policing techniques.
    • Experience with Packet Capture/Tracing/Analysis.
    • Fundamental understanding of network security best-practice and principles used to identify vulnerabilities and minimize risk.
    • Experience with Cloud Based VoIP/Hosted PBX/Hosted Contact Center platforms (Cisco Hosted PBX, Hosted Contact Center) a plus.
    • Experience with Nedi, Cacti, Netflow, NFsen, and Nagios/Icinga software a plus.
    • Unix/Linux skills a plus.
    • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Powershell, VB) a plus.
    • Experience with SD-WAN technologies a plus.
    • Ability to work remotely, collaborate with local hands to provide Layer-1 troubleshooting and assistance.
    • Familiarity with typical tools and techniques for discovering, monitoring and evaluating cybersecurity risks.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication skills including speaking in front of others.
    • Ability to communicate and educate complex technical topics via the written word.
    • Ability to bring projects to completion.
    • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to travel (~10% of time).
    • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
    • Two or four year degree in an IT Enterprise Networking related field.
    • Or three plus years' experience supporting Enterprise Network Infrastructure within large, distributed and complex environments.
    • Additional consideration offered for candidates possessing CCNA (either/or Routing and Switching, Voice, Security) or JNCIA-ENT certifications.

    • Follows OSHA regulations, RadNet and site protocols, policies and procedures.
    • Follows HIPAA, compliance, privacy, safety and confidentiality standards at all times.

    • Promotes good public relations on the phone and in person.
    • Adapts and is willing to learn new tasks, methods, and systems.
    • Reports to work regularly as scheduled; consistently punctual with respect to working hours and lunch schedules, and maintains satisfactory personal attendance in accordance with RadNet guidelines.
    • Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling or feeling, speaking, listening and high level cognitive thinking. Must be able to use a computer and other office machinery including copiers, scanners and computer software. Also, must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and weights of up to 10 pounds with regularity. This position requires the ability to travel (~10% of time), drive a vehicle and utilize other forms of transportation.
