    Description
    1. Support HUSD Vision, Mission and Goals.
    2. Assist the principal and assistant principal in the general administration of the school and assume administrator responsibility as assigned.
    3. Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, and students.
    4. Assists with attendance and discipline.
    5. Serve as a resource person to staff regarding policy, procedure, and special situations.
    6. Conduct conferences with parents and all involved personnel regarding attendance or disciplinary problems.
    7. Suggest alternative means and new ideas, different approaches to aid in achieving students' success and improved educational goals.
    8. Conduct conferences with parents and all involved personnel regarding attendance or disciplinary problems.
    9. Ensure necessary disciplinary records are maintained for grade level students.
    10. Follow-up on students who were assigned penalties to ensure the students are fulfilling this assignment.
    11. Monitor attendance of grade level students having difficulty achieving their educational goals.
    12. Attend all grade level pupil personnel and multi-disciplinary staffing for student placement in appropriate programs to meet the individual needs of the students.
    13. Coordinate with counselors regarding student progress toward the fulfillment of graduation requirements.
    14. Assist in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, and deal with special cases as necessary.
    15. Administer school rules regarding attendance.
    16. Assist in the evaluation of classified and certified staff.
    17. Establish goals and objectives bases on analysis of student achievement data.
    18. Help with curriculum alignment, instructional strategies and implementation.
    19. Analyzes assessments to assist school leaders in data-driven decision making
    20. Investigates, adjudicates, and monitors minor infractions of the school code in the form of progressive discipline such as detentions, classroom referrals, and in-school suspension
    21. Assists students in establishing high standards of conduct
    22. Assists with supervision of student club activities and crowd control at school events
    23. Perform other duties as assigned.
    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
    1. Master's degree required, in education or related field.
    2. State of Arizona administrative certification.
    3. A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
    4. Valid IVP Fingerprint Card.
    5. Specific administrative experience through internship and/or previous employment.
    6. No convictions for felonies or crimes against children

    1. Effective personal relationships with students, teachers, administrators, parents and the community.
    2. Effective educational leadership in the profession though membership and participation in the community and in the professional organizations as well as activities with students, teachers, community and individual projects.
    3. Effective organizational ability in all aspects of educational programs.
    4. Skills in effective decision making.
    5. Ability to communicate effectively with faculty and student body.
    6. Forward-looking in educational views and evidence of a willingness to accept change.
    7. Demonstrated competence in planning and developing educational facilities.

    5. Kneel, bend at the waist, and reach overhead and above the shoulders
    6. Lifting, carrying, pushing up to 25 lbs or pulling moderately heavy objects
    7. Stamina to work a full day and then supervise evening events or attend meetings
