- Payroll Processing:Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculation of wages, deductions, and withholdings, and generation of payroll reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, regulations, and tax laws.
- Timekeeping and Attendance:Coordinate timekeeping systems and procedures to accurately record employee work hours, leave balances, and attendance. Verify and reconcile timekeeping records to ensure accuracy of payroll calculations.
- Benefits Administration:Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary deductions. Ensure accurate deduction and remittance of employee contributions and employer contributions to benefit providers.
- Compliance and Reporting:Stay informed about federal, state, and local payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements. Prepare and file payroll tax returns, including W-2s and 1099s, and ensure compliance with tax withholding and reporting obligations.
- Payroll Support:Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees, managers, and external stakeholders. Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries, troubleshoot payroll issues, and resolve discrepancies in a professional and confidential manner.
