    Description:

    This position requires an RN license and a BSN or MSN.

    The Administrative coordinator is a professional management person responsible for coordination and direction of hospital operations, clinical and administrative activities in the absence of the clinical mangers, dept. heads and administration.

    Duties:

    • The Administrative Coordinator assures that hospital operations continue, and the needs of patients and their families are met in an effective and efficient manner.
    • When needed, the Administrative Coordinator communicates to the on-call administrative staff to keep them informed of significant occurrences and receive further direction.
    • The Administrative Coordinator supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

    Minimum licensure/certification required (if applicable):

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required, Business Administration or Master's preferred
    • Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
    • Require at least five (5) years' experience in a hospital that included a variety of direct contact with clinical service, material management, medical staff, and patient admission departments.
    • Two (2) years of management experience required.
