    Job Summary:

    The Senior Financial Analyst role is responsible a full range of planning, forecasting and analysis activities including creating financial models, incorporating guidance received on validated assumptions, as well as challenging data and information integrity.

    The Senior Analyst supports sales team management and other partners by providing decision support to the business.
    This role will be based out of the Chicago office.


    Essential Functions:


    Develops the Divisional annual divisional plans by incorporating guidance received on validated assumptions; assists in preparation of related presentation/deliverables to senior leadershipBuilds forecast models using key drivers, trend analysis, economic and external factors; monitors accuracy and predictability of existing modelsAnalyzes monthly and quarterly operating results versus budgeted targets and prior year to better understand variances across the divisionsContinuously improves accuracy by aligning to key drivers and identifying variance root causesCreate & Assists in the development of P&L statements for new items, account performance and or pricing.

    Assists with creation of analytical tools and models to drive revenue/expense management and efficient processesProduces and distributes recurring and ad hoc management reportsAssist in preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and presentations for Senior ManagementMaintain and upgrade P&L templates as neededSelectively audits approved requests for accuracyExperience:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required2-3 years of experience in FP&A, or AccountingOutstanding quantitative skills, including advanced MS Excel abilities, requiredExperience using data analytics to drive company growth efforts, increasing revenue or other key business outcomes requiredStrong knowledge of retail & consumer products.

    Experience with manufacturing finance and accounting preferredOracle JD Edwards and ReportsNow experience preferredOil-Dri Corporation of America, 410 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America
