Job Description:

Forecasting and Budgeting:

Assist business unit Finance Directors in developing regular financial forecasts aligned with Publicis Groupe's schedule
Analyze monthly and annual financial results, offering insights on forecast variances
Ensure data accuracy in Groupe financial software (Hyperion Financial Mgmt – HFM & Anaplan)
Become proficient in financial software to maintain updated data and share financial reports
Provide information to facilitate strategic planning across Finance and other departments

General & Administrative (G&A) costs:

Offer monthly G&A cost reports to budget holders in various departments
Collaborate across the agency to allocate costs to the correct accounts and budgets
Analyze actual costs versus budget, identifying variances and key influences

Management Reporting:

Support Finance and Executive leadership by analyzing data to derive business insights
Assist in presenting financial data to agency leadership using charts, graphs, etc.
Create reports focusing on trends, assessing business performance against expectations and historical data

Ad hoc Analysis:

Assist agency leadership by offering data and analysis to tackle business challenges
Summarize data from Groupe financial software to aid the leadership team

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
3 days/week hybrid schedule at Chicago office
Relevant internship experience and/or over 1 year of work experience preferred
Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, especially Vlookups and Pivot Tables
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problems solving abilities
Comfortable with extensive data analysis for operational insights
Capable of building and nurturing positive stakeholder relationships
Effective team collaboration skills
