Description
EHC is currently looking for a Project Drafter for a client located in Conroe, TX. The project consists of creating and duplicating technical drawings and is estimated to last 4+ months.


The Project Drafter that understands engineering and architectural concepts, is adept in using CAD software, can read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings.

In addition to being technically proficient, the person should be detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving skills to create accurate drawings that meet industry standards.

Communication, interpersonal and time management skills are also essential.

  • Minimum 2year associate degree or 1year certificate program in computeraided design and drafting (CADD)
  • Minimum of 25 years of drawing/specs on commercial/electrical equipment
  • Extensive working knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, to be able to prepare technical drawings efficiently
  • Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineers and other professionals
  • Time management skills to work with multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards
  • Advanced mathematical skills
  • Must be able to commute to Conroe and be in office for the length of the project, M-F.

Pay:
$ $40.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
