Detailed Job Description

Join the dynamic team at the Saunders College of Business in the department of International Hospitality and Service Innovation at the Rochester Institute of Technology as an Assistant / Associate Professor of Hospitality Management.
Teach, conduct research, and serve in the field of hospitality management.
Multiple areas of specialty are welcome, with a focus on event management, event sales, event technologies, sports management, entertainment management, and hospitality/service technology.
Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, establish a strong research agenda, actively engage with the industry, alumni, and professional organizations, as well as mentor students and collaborate with faculty.
Preferred qualifications include industry experience in hospitality management, events, sports, entertainment, or hospitality technology.

Required Minimum Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field from an AACSB-accredited institution.
Evidence of effective teaching, scholarly publications, commitment to diversity, and for Associate Professor candidates, a strong record of research, teaching, and service.
