    We have an
    excellent internship opportunity available in ourProcess & Technical Engineering group.The qualified candidate willparticipate in process, product, and quality improvement activities.

    Some assignments may work with cross functional teams such as New Product Development, Sales, and Engineering.


    Duties:

    • Study the production process to generate ideas for improvement
    • Work with the Quality Control department to analyze quality results
    • Perform statistical analysis of results using software tools to determine if there is any finding of correlations
    • Support the department Engineer with projects related to efficiency and process improvement
    • Support department group lead on projects related to efficiency, safety, technology, and productivity
    • Create periodic reports on progress of project and present to department
    • Work in a support role to other engineers on aspects of their projects

    Requirements:

    • Chemical engineering student entering his/her junior or senior year of college
    • Strong computer skills and proficiency with manipulating data
    • Must be proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Experience with statistical analysis preferred
    • Ability to report in a clear and concise fashion
    • Must have strong safety focus
    • Must have a strong work ethic and be highly self-motivated

    Length of Employment:

    • The assignment will begin in May and end in August.
    This internship is 40 hours/week.


    Compensation:
    This is a paid position; the compensation will be communicated in the near future.
