- Facilitate Day 1 orientation
- Oversee initial training schedule – acting as an early ambassador to Effortless to ensure new employees get the resources they need to be successful
- Ensure 90-day milestone meetings are scheduled; ensure milestone reviews occur
- Communicate employee announcements: birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, etc.
- Conduct our bi-annual employee engagement survey
- Be an empathetic listener and employee advocate
- Help facilitate crucial conversations between employees, managers, and leadership
- Create, oversee, and revise employee policies and procedures
- Maintain our employee handbook
- Ensure proper HR practices & retention of required HR documents
- Develops and tracks metrics that actively monitors and ensures organizational programs and initiatives are having the desired impact on the workforce
- Ensure that quarterly conversations & relevant deliverables are being completed by managers
- Assist with crafting a clear growth path for all employees including identifying training opportunities for advancement
- Maintain organizational resources such as job descriptions, org charts and payroll changes
- Contribute to creating employee training programs
- Oversee the successful completion of required annual training programs
- Assist with our quality program and the collection of metrics to track employee success and opportunities for growth.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities based on where quality is routinely missed
- Form strong relationships with team managers to identify training needs and opportunities to enhance the employee experience from a training and development perspective
- Research and advise on compensation structures to ensure we retain top talent
- Oversee reward and recognition programs; ensuring they delivery continuous value
- Contribute to publishing our monthly newsletter
- Help plan our holiday party and other unique events
- Be willing to jump into random projects that will contribute to our employee experience and grow Effortless
- Find ways to promote and exemplify our 5 core values
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in a relevant discipline like HR, organizational development, talent development/training, business administration
- 2+ years of experience managing an aspect of the employee experience
- Strong generalist experience required with knowledge of core HR functions
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and or leading others
- Experience with employer branding and employee communications
- Excellent interpersonal skills; especially adept at listening and displaying empathy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with Sr. Leadership
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- A strong aptitude for technology
- Skills in producing process documentation
- Experience building and overseeing training programs; extra bonus points if you have e-learning experience

Our Employee Experience Manager plays a critical role, overseeing our employees' evolution at our company: from recruitment and onboarding, to engagement, development, and growth. Ideally, you are an influential problem solver who is passionate about people, process, and continuous improvement. While we're looking for someone with an HR, organizational development or talent development background, we ultimately need someone with a broad skill-set; who is equally adept at gregarious tasks like speaking with job candidates, as they are at self-directed ones like analyzing data to gather insights and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Someone with a technical background, or even MSP experience would be a major benefit.
