- Utilize database knowledge and business process to perform advanced data analysis to accurately identify populations of customers that require remediation and also to calculate the refund, account adjustment or other resolution. This role will support Home Lending.
- Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growthand minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards.
- Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed.
- Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews.
- Assist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors.
- 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in Financial Services working with line of business data with Consumer Lending data experience.
- 7+ years of SQL and/or SAS experience.
- 5+ year of Teradata experience.
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
- Expert level analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.
- Expert-level problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Flexibility to work from home and meet the home eligibility assessment conditions, based on business need.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Other locations within the Wells Fargo footprint may be considered.

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant in the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence supporting the Remediation Analytics Team.
Primary responsibilities for this role include utilizing database knowledge and business process to perform advanced data analysis to accurately identify populations of customers that require remediation and also to calculate the refund, account adjustment or other resolution.
