    Description
    This position reports to the Director of the Hochberg Women's Center and Pride Center. The Coordinator will serve as the primary administrator responsible for the management and oversight of the Hochberg Women's Center's programming and marketing initiatives. This position will provide outreach to the Bryant community relating to the Center's mission as well its resources and services. The Coordinator will serve as a First Responder and a member of Bryant Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services team. This position supports the facilitation of the Women's Leadership Living and Learning Community and will work collaboratively with the larger PwC Center for Diversity and Inclusion team to offer diverse, intersectional, and inclusive programming to the University community.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for women-identified issues on campus.
  • Plan, market, facilitate, and manage assessment data of Hochberg Women's Center and PwC Center for Diversity and Inclusion programming and educational events.
  • Design, coordinate, deliver, and assess Hochberg Women's Center signature events including but not limited to Breast Cancer Awareness, Domestic Violence Awareness, HerStory Month, and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
  • Support in the execution of violence prevention programming and education.
  • Advise the Alliance for Women's Awareness student organization.
  • Serve as a First Responder for students who have been impacted by power-based personal violence, through Bryant's Advocacy Helpline program.
  • Serve as an Advocate for students who have been impacted by power-based personal violence.
  • Develop content for and manage marketing of the Hochberg Women's Center across multiple platforms, including flyers, the campus events calendar, emails, social media posts, and brochures.
  • Manage Hochberg Women's Center and Pride Center physical spaces, including inventory maintenance.
  • Support recruitment and engagement efforts, as well as programming initiatives for the Women's Leadership Living and Learning Community.
  • Participate in outreach efforts to raise awareness of various resources and programs offered by the PwC Center for Diversity and Inclusion and Hochberg Women's Center through such events as Open House, Orientation, and Welcome Week.
  • Collaborate with campus liaisons to offer inclusive programming.
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of the PWC CDI Recognition Banquet.
  • Attend bi-weekly PWC CDI staff meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: Best served by a person with:

    Required Training & Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree.· Demonstrated experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.· Knowledge relating to intersectional feminism/womanism, gender identity, gender equity, and women's empowerment.· Ability to advise students both individually and organizationally.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    Preferred Training and Qualifications: · Master's Degree and two years of experience in higher education, student development profession, or with a community non-profit or social services agency.· Direct experience with diverse student populations, knowledge of culture and needs of diverse identity groups, and the intersectionality of diverse communities.
