    About the Position:
    The incumbent serves as a senior Human Resources Specialist within the Army Contracting Command
    • Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), G1 Human Resources Department.
    Responsibilities Performs studies relating to such factors as turnover, identify workforce dynamics, trends, and anticipated changes that may impact the workforce to develop short and long-range workforce requirements and plans. Analyzes and interprets guidance on training policies and procedures from higher headquarters and initiates appropriate action. Serves as the Organizational Acquisition Point of Contact (OAP) for the ACC-APG Army Workforce. Ensures compliance with acquisition education, experience, and training requirements for certification and/or Army Acquisition Corps (AAC) membership. Writes and publishes training directives, regulations, policy letters, annual training guidance, and internal operating procedures. Recommends and initiates workforce development programs and projects in support of the mission. Providing authoritative guidance and assistance to employees and supervisors regarding Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and other departments. Provides advice and assistance to the Acquisition Workforce members on achieving the required Continuing Learning Points (CLPs) annually.

    The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).

    Specialized experience is defined as 1) Advise leadership is areas that may impact the workforce, such as training, strategic planning, hiring, recruitment, retention, policies; 2)Determine what training, education and/or leader development courses needed to improve or enhance the organization; and 3) Analyzes and/or interprets guidance on training policies and procedures to initiates appropriate action.

    You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

    For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information All Current Federal Employees MUST attach a current SF-50 for consideration. Without a SF-50, your application will be considered incomplete. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
