    JOB SUMMARY

    The Product Quality Associate will assist the Product Quality Manager with the total Product Quality Program to ensure all products, processes and procedures are in compliance with established quality policies and specifications.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversight of equipment calibration and periodic re-verification of applicable equipment, fixtures, and tools at QED
    • Maintain record rooms. Retrieve records from off-site storage for auditing and investigations
    • Review quality and production records for accuracy and completeness
    • Write, resolve equipment and process non-conformance's and participate in corrective actions
    • Review or draft SOPs and work instructions
    • Other tasks as defined by Manager

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education and Experience

    • Associate degree, technical or equivalent experience
    • 2+ years' experience in regulated industry – medical device, pharmaceutical, food, automotive or aerospace
    • Preferred working experience with metrology program administration in a FDA regulated/ISO certified industry
    • Familiarity with MRI coil manufacturing, testing or quality inspection preferred

    Skills and Abilities

    Required

    • Proficient in MS Office software, Word and Excel
    • Excellent communication skills both orally and written
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Electronics knowledge
    • Ability to lift up to 45lbs
    • Experience with quality and/or manufacturing record review
    • Proven ability to work independently
    • Self-motivated and highly organized

    Preferred

    • Experience with calibration/metrology in a regulated environment
    • Experience in operating Network Analyzer
    • Technical writing skills developing SOP's and work instructions
    • Experience with NCR, CAPA investigation and implementation
