Material Handler Put-Up Department 1st shift

Process returns from various vendors and customers according to established guidelines

Inspects received product and processes as needed for relabeling or adjustments

Inspects and verifies imported product for correct identification

Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of Management

For the Put-UP Department

**Responsible for support of direct labor operators**

Assists Operators by moving product to or away from various machine assignments

Transfers product from department to department

Maintains supplies needed in the production process

Issues product to operators based on production orders

Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of Management

Regular attendance is an expectation of performance to ensure adequate staffing and meet expected productivity throughout the organization, employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule

Required Experience

Ability to read, write and perform basic math function

Ability to multi-task in operation of equipment

Must have attention to detail and work under minimum supervision

Previous experience using a hand truck and pallet jack

High School diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift by hand (up to 30 lbs.) or by mechanical assistance

PPE required, such as, eye, hand, and face protection

Work within extreme heat environment, at times

Ability to within all machinery and equipment, climb steps an ladders work within restricted spaces

Ability to use hand truck and pallet jack
