    About Our Client

    The Senior Accountant will work for a Top ENR ranked Construction company based near Providence, Rhode Island backed by a well-established PE firm.

    The role is 5 days a week on-site and will partner with the Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, Project Accountants and other key stakeholders to ensure the continued financial success of the business.

    The company is expanding and scaling operations so there is plenty of room for growth and future promotions within the Accounting team.

    Job Description
    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:
    Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
    Provide detailed variance analysis and explanations for financial performance.
    Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
    Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic budget projections.
    Monitor and analyze cash flow, providing recommendations for improvement.
    Work closely with treasury and project teams to optimize cash management.
    Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
    Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
    Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in financial procedures.
    Streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management and operations, to support overall business objectives.
    Mentor and guide junior accounting staff as needed.
    Assist with project cost tracking and reporting, ensuring accurate allocation and recording of expenses as needed
    The Successful Applicant
    The Senior Accountant should have the following skill sets and responsibilities:
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related Field
    5 + years of Accounting and/or Public Accounting tenure
    Construction or Manufacturing Industry knowledge preferred
    Proficiency in an ERP system/software

    Base Salary Range:
    $100,000 - $110,000
    Bonus eligibility
