Description

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or issues
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Maintain and update accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the annual audit process
Stay uptodate with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial concepts, and practices
Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Xero) and MS Excel
Experience with general ledger reconciliation and account reconciliation processes
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and perform financial analysis
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Prior experience in public accounting is a plus
