    Description
    Michelin-starred COTE Korean Steakhouse, located in Miami's Design District, is the carnivorous vision of proprietor Simon Kim that blends together the fun and fire of Korean Barbeque together with the hallmarks of a classic American Steakhouse. We are professionals committed to ensuring exceptional hospitality and service to our customers.

    We are seeking to hire a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee and lead our award winning hospitality team The ideal candidate will work closely with team members to provide exceptional, engaged service to our customers, and promote an environment of respect, support, and grace in the dining room.

    Duties & Essential Functions (these are not all-inclusive):

    • Works with the Principal Bartender and Head Bartender to develop and drive all aspects of a seasonally rotating cocktail menu, including staff training and menu updates.
    • Proactively maintain a comprehensive and orderly spirits list and an evergreen database of COTE cocktails including recipes and costing.
    • Expand our contract offerings in order to effectively drive sales in conversation with the Director of Beverage.
    • Develop, implement, and drive beverage programs and promotions to build repeat guest business, grow word of mouth, and drive sales while effectively controlling costs.
    • Own ordering of all products and other supplies to maintain the COTE bar programs, including glassware and bar consumables.
    • Oversee inventory and EOM COGS reporting; handle all financial needs for the bar programs on a daily and weekly basis including GL management.
    • Cultivate positive, professional relations with all vendors.
    • Set pricing and menu offerings as overseen by the Director of Beverage and the General Manager.
    • Opens or closes COTE; completes opening or closing checklist, as applicable.
    • Previous hospitality experience preferred (5+ years).
    • Full time commitment to hospitality industry.
    • Must be able to lift heavy boxes (at least 30 lbs).
    • Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time over multiple floors.
    • Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing is required.
    • Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
    • Must be of legal age according to Local State regulations to serve alcohol (18 years).
    • Fluent in written and spoken English.
    • Food handler's certification.
