    Job Description

    Job DescriptionSpecialist will evaluate and index Capital Project closeout data into network and Facilities Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) database locations, ingesting information in AutoCAD and other digital formats as received, or produced in-house. Employee will assess hard copy information for digitization, then scan, photograph or label and shelve as appropriate. Building and construction documentation received through E-Builder, construction management software, and from other sources, will be reviewed for completeness, sometimes requiring follow-up communication with Project Managers or Architects & Engineers. Specialist will also assist with additional, daily duties of the Facilities Resource Center (FRC), which include customer service, locating documentation in the EDMS, on network locations, Resource Center shelves or University Archives & Records Center. As required, employee will send out drawings for reproduction, arranging for pickup & delivery, as well as communicate digital content via FTP.
