    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling administrative tasks as well as maintaining accurate financial records.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Administrative Tasks:
      • Answering phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients, vendors, and partners.
      • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
      • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
      • Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the team as needed.
    2. Bookkeeping:
      • Recording financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
      • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
      • Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
      • Generating financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
      • Assisting with payroll processing and tax preparation.
    3. General Support:
      • Maintaining organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
      • Assisting with office supply inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
      • Supporting other team members with administrative tasks as required.
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
    • Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
    Compensation: $ $24.00 per hour

    Our History

    2006

    The Bedford NH office opens and Staff Hunters begins working with more and more clients in the greater Manchester marketplace. The personalized approach, consistency and high quality control creates a distinct competitive advantage in a market where fast growth at any cost is the norm.

    2008

    Ari joins the Bedford office of Staff Hunters to focus on building a Senior-level Finance practice in Southern, NH and Northern, MA.

    2013

    Sara opens the Administrative practice in Bedford and makes an immediate impact in the scope and depth of the recruiting and placement in the office.

    2015

    The Bedford office grows and Tony makes plans to transition toward retirement. Raven Ridge is founded and acquires the Bedford location. The office expands and moves to a larger space in Bedford, NH. Payroll and billing operations move to the Bedford office. Growth and change create new business partners and new relationships; both internal and external.

    2016

    A banner year for finding great team members Dennis joins the Technical / Engineering group, assisting in the growth of the business. Kassey joins the Administrative team offering expertise in the Administrative and Human Resources job market.

    2020

    Ashlee joins the organization to head up administrative operations in charge of payroll and billing.
