- Provides cardiac ultrasound services
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives as they relate to Echo Department
- Provide clinical experience and training for students in the Echo Department
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of a recognized 1-2-year non-invasive cardiology program with emphasis in cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Must be licensed by the State of Nevada
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum one-year clinical experience in an acute care facility with demonstrated proficiency in cardiac sonography
- A.R.D.M.S registry eligible
- R.D.C.S in adult echocardiography and registry eligible in pediatric echocardiography preferred

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Medical Imaging Specialist III –/Cardio demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in the department.
