- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program and a member in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and ARRT (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B)
- Must be licensed by the State of Nevada
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

The Medical Imaging Specialist III - Nuclear medicine demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in the department.
