    The Role

    The Sales Development Specialist (SDS) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for our conversation-animated content partner and brand. The SDS manages the outbound campaigns to individuals within those assigned accounts and follows up on leads promptly. The goal is to increase the sales pipeline of the sales team by setting up meetings or calls between potential clients and Sales Executives.

    What You'll Do:

    • Qualification of Prospects: Engage with potential customers to understand their business needs and assess the strategic fit of the company's products or services
    • Appointment Setting: Diligently follow up and schedule meetings and presentations between potential clients and Sales Executives
    • Data Management: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all contacts and information in the CRM system
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve collective goals
    • Market Research: Continuously research and identify additional potential markets or prospects
    • Feedback Collection: Provide insights to sales and marketing teams about customer needs, challenges, interests, and potential for new products and services
    • Partnership Development: Identify and reach out to potential partners and platforms where our partner's content and services could be integrated, such as social media platforms, messaging apps, and digital media companies
    • Content Monetization Strategies: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to develop strategies for monetizing our partner's extensive library of animated sponsored content, branded integrations, and advertising partnerships
    • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on trends within digital media, particularly around visual content and social media innovations, to identify new business opportunities and understand how our partner can capitalize on these trends
    • Feedback Loop Creation: Facilitate a feedback loop between potential clients and the product team to help tailor our partner's offerings to better meet market demands and customer expectations
    • Educational Outreach: Educate potential clients on the benefits and uses of our partner's products and services, particularly focusing on how GIFs and animated content can enhance digital marketing efforts and user engagement
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical and creative teams to ensure that the sales strategies align with the technological capabilities and creative direction of our partner
    • Custom Solutions Advocacy: Actively promote our partner's capabilities in creating custom solutions for clients, such as bespoke images or branded content campaigns, and identify prospects interested in these services
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Appropriately follow policies, procedures, and escalation and transfer workflow to ensure an effortless experience
    • You maintain essential program knowledge that is critical for our partner and their clients
    • On occasion, you may work additional hours outside of your normal scheduled shift to accommodate program-related meetings, requests, inquiries, training, or other related matters
    • You achieve and maintain required program performance by meeting or surpassing key performance indicators and metrics as they are established and deployed on the program
    • You perform project duties and tasks that are within your skill and expertise level as assigned by program management

    What We Expect From You:

    • Experience: Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is advantageous
    • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
    • Persistence: Ability to handle rejection and persist with a positive attitude when reaching the next potential client
    • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Technological Proficiency: Experience with CRM software and Google Suite and or Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with social media platforms for professional use
    • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with all team members across the organization
    • Time Management: Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills; Punctuality, attendance, and adherence to schedule required
    • If telecommuting, the workspace must meet work-from-home requirements and be a designated, private, and PCI-compliant workspace. High-speed/broadband internet access is required
