    Job Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, including general ledger reconciliation, 10-key typing, and utilizing various payroll software systems such as Workday, Paychex, and UltiPro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees
    • Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
    • Maintain employee records and update changes in employment status
    • Calculate and process wage garnishments, deductions, and adjustments
    • Prepare payroll reports for management review
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
    • Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data

    Skills

    • Proficient in using payroll software systems such as Workday, Paychex, UltiPro, and QuickBooks, BambooHR a plus
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
    • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
    • Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation
    • Excellent 10-key typing skills with a high level of accuracy
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
