    We are seeking a skilled Backend Cloud Engineer proficient in Python, GO, CI/CD, DB2, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, and Kafka to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based backend systems that power our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and exceed customer expectations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design, architect, and develop cloud-native backend systems using Python, GO, and other relevant technologies.
    • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery of software updates.
    • Utilize DB2 and other database technologies to design and optimize data storage solutions, ensuring efficient data retrieval and management.
    • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes to ensure scalability, resilience, and portability across cloud environments.
    • Architect and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, leveraging event-driven architecture for efficient and cost-effective computing.
    • Integrate Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing, enabling scalable and fault-tolerant data processing pipelines.
    • Collaborate with frontend developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to design and implement end-to-end solutions that meet business needs.
    • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud development, backend technologies, and DevOps methodologies.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Backend Cloud Engineer or similar role, with expertise in cloud-native development and infrastructure.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and GO, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles.
    • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to automate software delivery.
    • Strong knowledge of database concepts and experience working with relational databases, preferably DB2.
    • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of microservices-based architectures.
    • Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation for building and managing cloud infrastructure.
    • Experience with Kafka for building real-time data streaming and processing applications.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
    • A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
    • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
