    Operations - Fee Specialist

    SUMMARY:

    The Operations Fee Specialist works directly with the Operations Team under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer in responsibility and authority. Operations Fee Specialists are responsible for performing and/or assisting in revenue calculation and related business management processes, and information & technology duties.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • High School Diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Microsoft Excel experience required
    • Billing Experience strongly preferred
    • Orion, MS Dynamic, & MS Access experience preferred
    • Financial services industry experience preferred
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Manage the calculation and collection of HBK Sorce Advisory's (HBKS) periodic investment management fees.
    • Reconcile the collection and recording of the firm's revenue sources and update the firm's internal revenue tracking system.
    • Provide billing support for internal departments and external vendors, responding timely to questions and concerns.
    • Develop best practices and maintain internal procedures to improve efficiency and maximize accuracy.
    • Extract, analyze and interpret data from various sources, displaying a high attention to detail.
    • Prepare, consolidate and/or analyze periodic reports for management; identify, research, monitor and report operational trends that affect business performance.
    • Assist with special studies/research requiring financial and operations analysis as requested by the Principals or Chief Operations Officer.
    • Display a high degree of technical and professional competence with strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills with the ability to make independent decisions and manage projects.
    • Use reasonable care and exercise independent professional judgement when making recommendations.
    • Maintain excellent communication with Principals and HBKS team members to ensure work is performed accurately and efficiently.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all clients and the firm business and perform activities in a manner consistent with the applicable HBKS Wealth Advisor compliance, operations, and human resource manuals.
    • Act with integrity, competence, diligence, respect, and in an ethical manner with the public, clients, prospective clients, HBKS and HBKS team members. Practice in a professional and ethical manner that will reflect credit on themselves and HBKS.
    • Maintain the firm name in the public through speaking engagements, community involvement and participation in business, civic and professional activities.
    • Place the interests of clients above their own personal interests.
    • Maintain and improve their professional competence while demonstrating a strong commitment to the firm.
    • Assist in the completion of various duties and tasks as required.
    • Work overtime as needed.
