    Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal to join our client's dynamic legal team.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in managing and resolving bodily injury cases.

    This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of legal procedures and documentation related to personal injury litigation.

    THIS POSTIION IS ON-SITE.


    Responsibilities:1.


    Case Management:

    • Assist attorneys in the management of bodily injury litigation cases from inception to resolution.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
    • Maintain organized case files, ensuring all relevant documents and information are accurately recorded and uptodate.
    • Prepare and file legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

    Document Review and Analysis:


    • Review medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents to gather and organize information related to bodily injury claims.
    • Summarize and analyze complex legal documents, identifying key issues and discrepancies.
    • Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits and witness lists

    Communication and Coordination:


    • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate the exchange of information and scheduling of events.
    • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations.
    • Draft correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision

    Legal Research:


    • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations related to bodily injury litigation.
    • Conduct legal research on relevant precedents, statutes, and case law

    Trial Support:


    • Assist attorneys during trial preparation, including the organization of exhibits and trial notebooks.
    • Attend trials to provide support, such as managing exhibits and assisting with witness coordination

    Qualifications:

    Education:


    • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred

    Experience:


    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in bodily injury litigation

    Skills:


    • Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures related to bodily injury cases.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in legal research and document analysis.
    • Detailoriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    Software Proficiency:


    • Proficient in legal case management software a including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat or Kodax, Faster Suite, Clio or other case/document management software is required.
    • Experienced with E-Filing, time entries, billing and calendaring.5.

    Team Player:



    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced legal environment.
