    POSITION SUMMARY:


    Five Below is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our legal team as a Contracts Paralegal to help meet our fast-growing contractual needs.

    This role will be responsible for providing legal and administrative support, assisting with document preparation and review, management of legal document flow, filing, mail processing, and other administrative work as assigned in addition to developing and managing internal processes and procedures.


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supports the Five Below contracts process, including maintaining and updating the Company's contracts system.
    • Drives increased efficiency, coordination, and effectiveness of contracts processes to meet the needs of the business.
    • Assist in many facets of in-house legal work, including contract review and preparation (including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements and other agreements), and matter management.
    • Assist with pre-clearance process for insider trading approvals.
    • Draft legal correspondence.
    • Perform general administrative functions, including document signature management, filing/scanning legal documents and contract management.
    • Provide general support to the legal team and assist with ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
    • Work with members of Legal leadership, other attorneys and staff on departmental matters as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting transactional attorneys as a paralegal either at a law firm or an in-house corporate legal department (in-house experience is a plus).
    • BA/BS required; Paralegal certification preferred.
    • Transactional experience mandatory (familiarity with IT agreements preferred).
    • Must be able to work cross-functionally with a variety of teams within the company.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be extremely accurate and detail-oriented.
    • Strong work ethic with high level of organization.
    • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple project tasks within a fast-paced, high growth corporate retail organization.
    • Comfortable with technology; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (experience with contract/information management systems is a plus).
    • Proactive and able to identify issues, legal risks, and potential liabilities, and to report these matters to the legal team.
