    Connected Systems has a client in the Portsmouth, NH area with a perm/direct hire opening for a Quality Engineer.

    This Quality Engineer will support a very successful electronics manufacturer from design thru manufacturing.

    They will be developing, integrating and upholding quality standards for a wide range of customer manufacturing requirements, via quality process and documentation.


    Responsibilities:
    Identify and analyze customer Quality and Technical requirements.

    Provide internal customers with necessary information for shipping hardware and associated documentation.

    Primary interface with customer quality counterparts for open orders and warranty claims.

    Review statements of work, quotations, and purchase orders to ensure customer quality requirements are met.

    Note exceptions to quotes or purchase orders and incorporate them into contracts.

    Support early stages of manufacturing planning, such as Production Readiness Reviews.


    Education and Experience:
    Engineering Degree or similar technical discipline, or 3 years relevant industry experience.

    Prior work experience in Quality Engineering, with design or manufacturing build environment.


    Preferred:
    Experience in developing new products or introducing new products to the market.

    Familiarity with ISO or an equivalent Quality standard.

    Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

    Previous involvement in reviewing customer contracts.

    Industry experience in Defense, Aerospace, and Industrial Applications

    Quality Engineering, Auditing, and/or Lean Six Sigma Certifications.
