Description
The Superintendent is responsible for running a successful project from the field including; site safety, logistics, project schedule, sub-contractors, etc.
They will also be responsible for some Assistant Project Management responsibilities including change orders requests, RFI's.Our client is a growing General Contractor in South Florida with a lot of Miami work in the pipeline.
They focus mainly on interiors projects for (doctors offices, religious facilities, restaurants and retail).Run and maintain a successful commercial project day to dayCoordinate with sub-contractors, architects, engineers, owners and PM on jobUpdate project milestones and scheduleManage or support the change management process, by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, developing estimates and proposals, wiring change orders and other related activities.
Establish, monitor, communicate, and maintain project schedules utilizing contemporary scheduling software.Maintain and regularly produce reports utilizing a combination of Procore Project Management Software and the Microsoft Office programs7+ years of experience in commercial construction~construction management, engineering, architecture or similar (Preferred)~ Experience working on interior renovations up to $1M to $5M With Class A FinishesCompetitive Salary and Strong (Bonus structure)~ Vacation/Sick/Holiday pay~MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
