Tech Academy teaches week-long technology classes throughout Minnesota. We offer Coding, 3D Printing, Virtual Reality, Minecraft, Movie Making, Video Game Design, Legos, and Robotics classes for students ages 6-14.
ABOUT PROGRAM:
We are seeking enthusiastic applicants for our Summer Camp Technology Teacher and Assistant positions We have over 100 locations across the twin cities.
Ideal applicants for Teacher positions are college students/graduates studying computer science, teaching, or related STEM majors with experience with elementary-age children or licensed teachers. Ideal applicants for Assistant positions are tech-savvy high school or college students or those qualified for the Lead Teacher position looking for a more relaxed role in the classroom. Many of our past employees used our positions to satisfy internship requirements.
Role Description
This is an internship role for a Summer Coding STEM Instructor, Assistant, or Internship. The role is on-site and located in Edina, Eden Prairie, and Wayzata. We run weekly classes from June 10 to August 23. You need to be available for at least 7 of those weeks. Classes typically run Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays, and you will need to be available from 8 am to 4 pm all week. Some classes run in only the morning or just the afternoon, and sometimes both.
