We are looking for you as a trainee for the position of Operation Theatre Assistant / OTA (m/f/d) at our location in Schwerin starting on September 1st, 2024.

What to expect
  • As an important part of the operating team, you will support in the operating room and in various functional areas (e.g. outpatient clinic or endoscopy).
  • Some of your daily tasks will include preparing the patient for the procedure, providing and maintaining the necessary instruments and medical devices, and documenting the procedure.
  • The training will prepare you to assist doctors before, during, and after a surgical procedure.
  • You will care for and monitor anesthetized patients.
  • Theoretical knowledge will be taught in block lessons at the vocational school in Güstrow.
What you bring
  • You have a strong sense of organization and cleanliness (hygienic behavior).
  • You have a high level of concentration combined with a persistent work ethic.
  • You have ideally completed a preparatory internship in the operating room or on a surgical ward.
  • You have either a secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent education, a primary school
