40% travel required to our properties.

The Role:


The Regional Director of Operations will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring profitability, and fostering a positive guest experience across all assigned properties.

The Job Title shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the SCP's Culture & Core Values.


The Regional Director of Operations is expected to spend more than 50% of their time performing the duties in bold below and is expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment in carrying out their duties.

In exercising discretion and independent judgment, the Regional Director of Operations is expected to compare and evaluate possible courses of conduct and act or make a decision after considering the various possibilities, including when the Regional Director of Operations makes suggestions and recommendations to others.

The fact that the duty is in bold does not necessarily mean it is of more or less importance than non-bolded duties.


Responsibilities:


Oversee and manage the operations of multiple hotels within a designated region.- Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational objectives and drive business growth within the region.- Implement and enforce brand standards and operational policies across all hotels in the region.- Act as liaison for GM's to SR.

Leadership.- Conduct regular property visits and audits to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective action plans.- Provide guidance and direction to property GM's to ensure alignment with company goals and standards.- Provide guidance, training, and support to hotel management teams to optimize performance and drive employee engagement.- Identify opportunities for expansion or improvement and collaborate with senior leadership to execute initiatives.- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners, including corporate teams, owners, and vendors.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities and organizations to enhance the hotel's reputation and drive business.- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements in the region.- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the performance and progress of hotels within the region.- Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices across the region.- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics for each property, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.- Develop and implement strategies to maximize hotel revenue and profitability.- Collaborate with hotel general managers to establish and achieve financial and operational goals.- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies to drive revenue growth.- Oversee the implementation of operational standards, policies, and procedures to maintain consistency and quality across all properties.- Collaborate with the human resources department to recruit, train, and retain top talent within the region.- Manage budgets and financial resources effectively to achieve financial targets.- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the region.- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency in hotel operations.
