Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities
Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation process
Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications and Skills:

Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility
Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
