- Interesting and challenging work that builds communities. You can expect to be involved in grading, stormwater, water, sewer, and other areas of civil engineering for both private and public projects. Through these projects, you will be impacting the future of the communities.
- Managing drawings and providing calculations.You'll prepare and revise drawings from rough sketches, mark-ups, or general engineering and design information and put the finishing touches on them with labeling, layering, and sheet layout.
- Site visits and observations.We want you to get out of the office on occasion to walk and photograph the sites you're designing and observe the construction of what you designed.
- Supporting project managers and senior engineers. You'll be assisting in meeting project schedules and achieving company quality goals.
- Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- A passion for serving others, communication, creativity, and a commitment to high-quality work.
- A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- An EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Generally, 0 to 4 years or more of progressively responsible drafting and civil engineering design experience.
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience.
