Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the strategic planning of the heat networks up to 125°C and 16 bar operating pressure in Airway Heights.
You will design, develop and update strategic, future-oriented concepts, regional plans and network development plans, taking into account changing conditions of the energy and heat transition in coordination with the network operation.
You will build and update functional network models, using modern network calculation or simulation software.
You will derive recommendations for optimizing the heat networks and network structures, taking into account technical, commercial, regulatory and ecological aspects.
You are open to new topics, such as developing a H2 network strategy.
You will continuously review and evaluate the networks based on condition assessments and fault analyses.
You will contribute to the design of planning foundations for the construction and maintenance of the networks, as well as the provision and determination of decision-relevant commercial and technical key figures in the heat sector.
You will support the department head and participate in all department and system-relevant processes.

Education: You have a degree in process, supply, energy or environmental engineering or a comparable degree.
Experience: You have several years of professional experience in the construction or operation of heat distribution systems.
