- Establishing Center of Excellence for Cardiology Division and CV service line.
- Planning, directing, and monitoring the Medical Staff Cardiology Division of employed Cardiologists, as well as collaboration with non-employed community-based cardiologists.
- Work closely with Chief of Cardiothoracic surgery, service line administrative leaders and the senior leadership team to develop and implement the overall system Cardiovascular strategic plan.
- MD, MBBS or DO
- Board Certified in Cardiology, Cardiology Subspecialty, Cardiovascular Surgery, or Vascular Surgery
- Masters in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related clinical field preferred.
- 10 years of clinical experience
- 5 years of medical directorship experience or progressive administrative responsibility
- Multi-site/system level experience preferred
- Collaborative, engaging physician leader who enjoys mentoring and inspiring clinicians and physician leaders and building/establishing programs.
- Specific experience and/or training in Lean/Six Sigma or High Reliability tools preferred.
- Can work up to 60% Clinical (depends on hire)

The Chief, Medical Cardiology Services will oversee and provide support/guidance and a system strategy for Cardiology Division and CV service Line. There are two hospital departments and medical group of private and employed physicians.

In addition to maintaining high quality outcomes for patients through multiple accredited programs such as Cancer Care, Total Joint, Primary Stroke, IGFS, TAVAR, Cath Lab, Trauma, etc, our client is one of the top financially stable organizations in the nation and boosts strong financial performance with a "AA" rating and stable outlook.
