    The ideal candidate will be a

    Mid-Level Cost Engineer/Estimator

    with a proven track record of preparing cost estimates, risk assessments and controls through the planning and design phases. If you would like to work in a small team environment that allows you to showcase and refine your abilities, we invite you to apply today

    This position is full-time and requires United States Citizenship.

    Key Responsibilities
    Prepare cost estimates in-house using software and estimating programs for Design-Build (DB) and Design-Bid-Build (DBB) projects – conceptual and schematic design, development and construction documents
    Meet with clients and designers to discuss cost repercussions
    Provide technical reviews of project constructability design and analysis
    Execute change order analyses and reviews
    Conduct electronic take-offs on various architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural systems
    Travel 10% – typically once a quarter for short durations (2-5 days)

    Basic Qualifications
    5 years of relevant experience
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Demonstrated ability to learn and apply oneself when challenged

    Preferred
    Professional Engineer (PE) License
    Certified Cost Professional (CCP) Certification or equivalent
    Experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal agencies
    Construction management experience
    Knowledge of OST, PlanSwift or RSMeans
