- Work with Dunwoody's Leadership, faculty, volunteers, and staff to develop solicitation strategy and content.
- Create strategic summaries to facilitate project management and collaboration that define goals, audience criteria, content, timeline and budget detail for each mail/email/phone campaign.
- Manage appeal reporting to monitor progress toward annual fund goals, including an annual assessment of direct response fundraising efforts.
- Manage relationships with mail, phone and related vendors.
- Work with the Institutional Advancement Team to identify ways to integrate fundraising strategies with alumni and student relations.
- Work with Marketing Department to update annual fund web pages and forms and assist with social media strategy
- Assist in building a culture of philanthropy that attracts large/national, regional, and local donors.
- Enhance and manage donor messaging on receipts and acknowledgements.
- Communicate with donors by phone, mail, or email to complete thank you and discovery calls.
- Manage a portfolio of 10-20 constituents at any one time and be responsible to identify, rate, cultivate, solicit and steward donors to the campaign and Dunwoody Fund.
- Attend and assist with Institutional Advancement Events.
- Cross-train to serve as back up for Advancement Operations processes as needed.
- Commit to ongoing professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support projects, events, and processes at all levels in response to the needs of the IA team, especially as it relates to annual giving.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn new computer programs and database management systems and demonstrate proficiency given adequate training.

- To perform the job successfully, must have adequate knowledge of and willingness to use specialized software such Raiser's Edge, Crescendo, Microsoft Teams, and/or other databases/electronic aids, in order to be as self-sufficient as possible in day-to-day operations. Use and maintain shared network folders to greatly limit reliance on personally stored items and documents.

Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Annual Fund Coordinator will work with the Institutional Advancement Team to develop and manage an annual giving plan that meets budgeted goals and supports annual fund growth. Specifically, the Annual Fund Coordinator will be responsible for the direct mail, phone, and social media activities soliciting alumni, friends, and employees. This position highlights opportunities to craft compelling messaging while collaborating with team members to execute projects. The Annual Fund Coordinator will interact directly with donors, alumni, and friends of Dunwoody College. This position reports to the Director of Development and Alumni Relations.
