- Average Daily Census 14
- Patient population: Medical/Surgical & Heart Care
- Assessing patient needs and identifying expected nursing outcomes;
- Developing an individualized nursing plan of care;
- Implementing interventions as needed during treatment based on the plan of care;
- Evaluating care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes;
- Using communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes;
- Coordinating care with members of the health care team and delegating responsibilities to others as appropriate;
- Demonstrating the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways, and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes;
- Promoting a culture of evidence based practice (EBP) by participating in a multitude of available opportunities; and
- Performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act.
- Basic Life Support Through Health Care Providers

Our 184 bed facility offers a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services.Within our ICU, our Registered Nurses are responsible for caring for patients who have many different diagnoses including, but not limited to, sepsis, overdoses, withdrawals, and surgical patients who need a higher level of care.
Our complex patients require continuous hemodynamic monitoring, intense medication management, ongoing critical thinking, and excellent communication with team members and families.

Schedule:
This position will be working hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 8 hours on the night shift. This position will also work rotating weekends.
