Currently seeking qualified Registered Nurse RN candidates to staff full time contracts in the Emergency Department (ER) at great hospitals in Bloomington, IN. Pay rates are currently $46 - $57 per hour. There is night shift availability. These are 13-week contracts. 1-2 years of recent experience is required.

Requirements of the RN

• Active Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Indiana
• 1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
• Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure
• Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
• Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility

Responsibilities of the ER - RN

• Triaging and assessing patients as they arrive, determining the severity of their condition, and prioritizing care accordingly.
• Provide immediate medical care to patients experiencing acute injuries or illnesses. This may include administering medications, performing procedures such as wound care or IV placement, and stabilizing patients in critical condition.
• Work closely with physicians, other nurses, technicians, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and discharge instructions. T
• Provide care for patients in a variety of emergencies, from trauma cases to complications of acute illness.
