Apprenticeship as a tile layer at Krüger Hannover

Krüger Hannover is one of the largest specialist stores for modern tiles and bathroom ideas in northern Germany and a destination for discerning customers, architects, and plumbing companies.

The apprenticeship as a tile layer usually lasts three years. During the apprenticeship, our trainees learn about building physics (thermal, sound, and moisture protection), various techniques for setting, laying, and anchoring tiles, as well as knowledge about the materials used. Tasks within the apprenticeship include direct tile laying, creating insulation layers, plaster substrates, and screeds, as well as creating design sketches, working drawings, laying plans, and detailed drawings.

Requirements for an apprenticeship as a tile layer include a good secondary school leaving certificate, manual dexterity, good mathematical skills, and technical understanding.

You are

  • At least in possession of a secondary school leaving certificate
  • Highly self-motivated
