- Oversee day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
- Manage a small team of maintenance personnel.
- Lead and schedule daily maintenance team responsibilities.
- Improve operational efficiency through documentation and personnel management.
- Schedule and manage maintenance for all facility equipment. Provide hands-on leadership for repairs and internal training.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, replace, or repair parts, and test and adjust electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery.
- Utilize knowledge of VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) and automation systems for electrical troubleshooting.
- Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
- Provide maintenance support for the entire facility, including utilities and fire suppressant systems.
- Maintain equipment performance to minimize downtime.
- Evaluate systems and facilities to determine necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Plan and manage overall maintenance and special projects.
- Procure parts and services, including contractor sourcing and management.
- Maintain parts inventory and repair/calibration records.
- Assist in upgrading existing equipment to more efficient alternatives.
- Generate and present reports on operational maintenance efficiency and costs.
- Assist with departmental budget estimates and specific repair project costs.
- Experience with electrical components, diagnosis, repairs, welding, calibration, VFD automation systems, troubleshooting, tracking, inventory, and fabrication.
- Proficiency in OSHA compliance requirements.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to identify and document issues and determine necessary repairs
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid TX driver's license required.
- Minimum five years of in-field maintenance experience.
- Minimum five years of administrative maintenance experience.
- Technical certifications or education is a plus.
- Trainer safety equipment certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- This position involves work both indoors and outdoors, occasionally at heights.
- Some tasks require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Summary:
The Maintenance Manager will oversee production and facility equipment. This includes experience with electrical, diagnosis, repairs, welding, calibration, VFD automation systems, troubleshooting, tracking and inventory parts, fabrication, working indoors, outdoors, and occasionally from heights. You should know OSHA compliance requirements. As a working manager, you will lead a team to provide excellent efficiency in equipment.
