Job Summary:


Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Officer, the Special Corpsmember (Administrative Assistant) is responsible for assisting in a variety of tasks including, but not limited to filing, preparing copies, scanning, facility maintenance, issuing of gear, receiving quotes, and transportation of vehicles, Corpsmembers, and supplies.

Assist staff with tracking and entering POs into State procurement database. Support filing procurement supporting documents/files, including but not limited to copies of contracts, project folders, P-cards, vehicle files, etc. May assist administrative staff with transportation of supplies, and vehicles for maintenance. Assisting with front office duties, to include answering phones and providing information to the public. Assist in monitoring, issuing, and maintaining the inventory of all equipment and supplies. Track inventory controls and measures to prevent losses. Prepare requests for ordering. Assist in scheduling vehicle maintenance and repair. Facilitate transportation of vehicles and Corpsmembers for appointments. Assist with maintaining an accurate vehicle status report and files.

Other duties that are included, but not limited to, are tracking mileage, Voyager Cards, vehicle supplies, and the cleanliness inspection of vehicles.

Assist in measuring, fitting, issuing, collecting uniforms, and keeping accurate records of corpsmembers issued supplies/uniforms. Monitoring of supply area for cleanliness, cleaning of security cameras, and other duties as assigned. May occasionally cover for Residential Support Staff in the monitoring of residential living.

Make regular security patrol checks of facility buildings and grounds, enforce CCC policies & procedures and all State and Federal laws.

Monitor Center cleanliness, safety compliance, document concerns in Logbook, Be a positive influence to Corpsmembers.


Pay:
$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: - Health insurance.

Skills:


  • Experience with Microsoft word and excel
  • Current drivers license
  • Ability to lift and move items 50lbs or more
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures
  • Familiarity with mechanical operations within a warehouse setting
  • Competence in materials handling techniques
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks and or forklift effectively
