Job summary
The City of Altamonte Springs is known as one of the most innovative cities in the United States. We are seeking a Director of Growth Management to play a central role in how our city grows, moves, redevelops, and evolves.We want someone with a strong command of planning, development review, and economic development who can work through complex issues and offer clear practical solutions. Someone who can lead major projects negotiate development agreements present to boards collaborate across departments drive innovation programs through the Altamonte Global Innovation Lab.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in urban planning or city planning public administration engineering architecture geography or directly related field.
- A minimum eight years professional experience in urban planning or executive government administration at the local level including four years supervisory experience at senior management level.
