    Description

    StevenDouglas is searching for an Accountant to support the Finance team of a growing Private Equity firm in Jacksonville.

    Position details:

    • Assist in the GL accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and month end close processes
    • Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Manage expense reporting in Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Work closely with the Private Equity team to support accounting functions specific to investment funds
    • Compile and analyze financial statements to assess financial performance, identify variances, and provide insights to management.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

    Required/Desired Skills:

    • Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is required.
    • Strong understanding of AP, AR, Travel and Expense Reporting, and financial reporting processes
    • Proficiency in Concur, AP system ), SAGE Accounting system and other relevant financial software
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
